La Boule de Cire
Frothy and quickly dissipating head. Amber in color. Aromas of zesty, dirty and sweaty barnyard followed by sweet summer fruit. Tart front palate with a familiar malt body and earthy yet fruity finish. Brewed with Weyermann Pilsner and Pale malt, Northern Brewer and Spalt hops, and our proprietary German ale yeast strain. Aged for 9 months on French Oak barrels and then with with cranberry, raspberry, tart cherry and sweet cherry for another 9 months with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, Lactobacillus, Brettanomyces Lambicus, Pediococcus and Claussenii yeasts.
